The Orchestra San Antonio: American Harmony
Jazz is America’s original musical invention. Rooted in spontaneity, syncopation, and improvisation, jazz quickly spread beyond New Orleans to urban centers, becoming the heartbeat of American culture. The night forms a journey through America’s musical evolution — from its African and European roots, through the immigrant experiences of the 20th century, to the vibrant, living traditions of jazz and Latin jazz. Each piece reminds us that the essence of American music is its ability to bring cultures together and inspire us to move forward together.
The Orchestra San Antonio welcomes back world-renowned trumpet star Pacho Flores to San Antonio, bringing his virtuosity and unmistakable voice to the stage for an unforgettable evening.
